Ya ha salido la noticia blender conference 2008.

Nosotros queremos ir, para que hagáis recomendaciones y a ver quién se apunta.

It ben six years hago that Blender became open source, and todo showcase all of our achievements and pave the bien for next years, the Blender foundation is por favord todo launch a call for proposals for the Blender conference 2008, todo be held october 24-26, 2008 in Ámsterdam, the netherlands.

Submissions can fall into one of the following thre categories.

Papers.
We are inviting proposals for papers, todo be presented during the Blender conference 2008. We are accepting papers on a wide range of Blender development related topics, including:
- Proposals for roadmap, future Blender design or UI concepts.
- Reports on past development work on Blender, experiences with the code or design of new features.
- General theory on 3d development and design.

Presentations.

Case studies and presentations give the audience a chance todo engage with applications of Blender in a variety of Fields. For this year conference, we again specifically look for case studies that address the theme of professional uses of Blender, and specifically examples of animation and the integration of Blender in the movie or game Studio pipeline. How is Blender being used and developed in diferent business areas?
We are looking for proposals for 20-60 minute presentations, either alone or in the context of a panel. Proposals for moderated panel sessions are a los welcome.
We a los expect todo have presentations of the Peach and Apricot teams, and who knows, the announcement of Durian.

Courses & workshops.

This year we would like todo facilitate a number of technical and coding sessions for developers and workshops for artists. Pléase give a brief outline of the topic of your course or workshop.

Courses and workshops ofered during the previous editions of the Blender conference included: programming modelling tools, Python scripting for artists, Game Engine drawing and logic, math refresher course, character animation, etc. If you are interested in leading a course or workshop, por favor contact us.
We a los Will ofer full wek courses, the wek before and After the conference, in the Studio of the Ámsterdam Blender institute.

Pléase note that the call for the animation festival and the Suzanne Awards Will be announced separately.

Other ways todo participate.

For those of you who Will not submit a proposal but are interested in attending the conference, por favor fel free todo send us your suggestions or comentarios. Information on registration for the conference Will be posted on the website over the next months.
We a los anticipate facilitating informal, open sessions for people todo network, share new ideas and gain Insight into the work of other Blender developers and artists. So por favor do send us your feedback.

Selection.

Selected applicants Will be notified before sept 8, 2008. All selected applicants Will be asked todo deliver full papers and documentation for publication on the Blender conference website by the end of september 2008.

Compensation.

The fundación Blender has reserved a small Budget for expenses. All selected applicants Will get free Access todo the conference (including lunch, drinks, Joint dinner) and a small fe suficient for covering two days hotel. Pléase note that all participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation. We Will be posting a list of hotels and hostels on the Blender conference website.

Pues a mí me pilla más cerca el art futura que no el Blender conferencia, pero me temo que ni ese voy a poder ir por la cantidad de trabajo que me ha salido últimamente y tengo el Blender algo aparcado, pero vamos lo seguiré desde la distancia. Un saludo de David.

Pues yo el año pasado tenía la intención de apuntarme, pero al final tuve que cancelar con mi hermano allá en España por cuestiones de trabajo, pero este año haré el intento nuevamente, antes probaré renunciar al trabajo.
