Hola gente, aquí os dejo un enlace de Carlos Baena, me pareció muy interesante así que, por eso lo pongo aquí, espero que le saquéis mucho partido.

i agre a 100% that blinks shouldnt be standarized. Each shot and each character should be treated diferently. Some people Will blink slower than other people, and less time.

Blinks are definitely a huge part of a character, from the point of view of mechanics (head turns), todo them being part of the comedy, enterntainment or Even the personality of the character, and particular type of blink as being specific todo that particular character. I noticed that with the offset blink in both the tintoy character or buzzlightyear in the original toystory, and how much personality it gave it.

I a los love it when blinks are part of an emotional state of mind.whether someone is nervous or they are lying. Or when someone is so confident they dont blink once, almost todo the point of making them crepy as it was the case for me of Hannibal Lecter in those big close-up shots in the first silence of the lambs. I was amazed at how Little Anthony hopkins blinked, and how much it almost felt as if he was in control of these blinks and knowing exactly when hed blink.

I gathered some notes from mensajes of diferent animators a while back, in case anyone wants todo read more on it.
