MMA platform and fast charging as key technical features ⚡
The GLA 2027 sits on the MMA platform, designed for compact electric vehicles of the group. This architecture allows for a high-voltage battery that, according to initial estimates, achieves that coveted 700 km range under the WLTP cycle. The electric version will support fast charging of up to 250 kW, going from 10 to 80% in about 20 minutes. The hybrid variant will arrive later, combining a combustion engine with a 48-volt electrical system, prioritizing efficiency in the city.

At 4.52 meters long, the new GLA seems to have signed up for a broad-shoulder gym. The brand has decided that a small SUV cannot be that small, so they have stretched it to the brink of the upper category.
