Producer Takeshi Yamanaka has confirmed that the new fighting game from Arc System Works will include Spanish dubbing, a feature he considers key for a more immersive experience. The title, which will be released on August 6 for PC and PlayStation 5, will feature a story mode of approximately ten hours fully localized into ten languages, a challenge for a studio that previously only recorded in three.

Yamanaka highlighted that the inclusion of Spanish and seven other additional languages represented a significant effort for the development team, which traditionally limited itself to three languages. To achieve this, they had the support of Sony Interactive Entertainment in the localization process. The game, a tag fighter where players form teams of four characters with a shared health bar, seeks to offer a more natural experience for Spanish speakers, facilitating immersion in the narrative.
Now you can lose in Spanish with all dignity 😅
Finally, Spanish speakers will be able to hear their favorite heroes insult each other in their own language while they miss 40-hit combos. Yamanaka describes it as wonderful, although he was surely referring to the thrill of hearing a character say I'm going to tear you in two before your shared health bar is wiped out in three seconds. At least, defeat will sound more familiar.
