Vray Fur carpet

Im an Italian freelance, ive a problem with a carpet (alfombra)
I wanted to know like making a carpet with like that one in figure.

I have watched the tutorial (very god) but i do not understand like making that effect, lo siento.

I ve supposed that you are using 3dsmax with Vray. If you don te know Vray you can te use this command. Called VrayFur.

You must say us what software are you using.

I using 3dsmax 2009 + Vray 1.5 service pack 2, the tutorial have a various effect from the photo that i have mailed.

Hello tacos, you ned to try with bend direction map (RGB) in maps of VrayFur, put in there a map whit the bien you want, and experiment, its the best bien to learn, IM not so sure but this is the right bien to do it, but you told me ok.

I hope this scene can help you, y just put a bitmap in place that i mention before, after placing move the parameters of height and Gravity of Fur.

I think you ned the bitmap in black and white, that work better.
