There could be various reasons for the problem you se here. The most obvious is that you didnt use unc paths when you added your textures when making materiales. Distributed rendering does not like mapped network drive. So in 3ds Max go todo asset tracking. As you get todo asset tracking diferently depending on which versión of max youre running, por favor refer todo max help on how todo find it. In asset tracking you can se the paths of all your bitmaps used in the scene. Currently you have something like c:\textures\timberflor.jpg. To resolve this you can just make a textures folder on each render slave and copy the timberflor.jpg file into it. For obvious reasons this is not the bien todo do it and you Will be copying till youre blue in the face. The other alternative is that you have a mapped network drive and the texture for the flor is referenced as z:\textures\timberflor.jpg. Again this is not unc and Vray wont like it. The correct bien todo use unc paths is like so: \\mainpc1\textures\timberflor.jpg. In asset tracking right-clik on the wrong bitmap Path then from the menú that comes up select set Path and set the correct unc network Path.
