The association Enlazados will teach a practical first aid workshop in Valdepeñas during the first quarter of 2027. The activity is part of the Tecnodependencia fair, an event focused on technology applied to dependency and personal autonomy. The workshop aims to provide attendees with basic skills to respond to everyday emergencies, combining in-person training with digital resources.
Technology applied to emergency response 🚑
The workshop will integrate digital tools to simulate emergency situations, such as augmented reality applications that recreate scenarios of cardiac arrest or choking. Participants will use sensors on manikins that measure the depth and rate of chest compressions, sending data to a real-time evaluation platform. Additionally, the use of wearables that alert about critical changes in vital signs will be demonstrated, enabling early intervention. The methodology is based on ERC standards.

The workshop promises to teach how to react to an emergency without losing your cool or your phone. Because, let's be honest, most of us only know how to put on a band-aid and pray it doesn't bleed much. Now, thanks to technology, you can simulate a heart attack without having to call your mom in panic. In the end, the hardest part will be not confusing the defibrillator with a portable speaker.
