Nippon Columbia has confirmed the release of Spooky Spirit Shooting Gallery for Switch 2 in Japan on August 6th. This title, which adapts a 2019 medal game, originally arrived on Switch in July 2021 and was published in the West by Aksys Games in April 2023. The new version will cost 5,280 yen and introduces more modern multiplayer features.
GameShare and GameChat Expand the Multiplayer Experience 🎮
The Switch 2 version of Spooky Spirit Shooting Gallery incorporates support for GameShare, allowing players to share the game without everyone needing to own it. Additionally, it includes GameChat for coordination during ghost-hunting sessions. These features are designed to facilitate group play, whether locally or online, enhancing the cooperative experience the title offered in its original version.
Digital Ghosts That Now Also Chat Among Themselves 👻
Because shooting specters with a plastic rifle was no longer enough, now you can do it while listening to your friends complain that you're not providing cover. GameChat arrives to add an extra layer of chaos to the hunt, and GameShare ensures no one is left out, even if they haven't paid. Of course, the ghosts still won't have a right to reply, since they're virtual.
