IO Interactive has published the official PC requirements for 007 First Light, its new spy adventure. Following a previous list with non-existent hardware, this version is more realistic and accessible. To play at 1080p and 30 fps on low quality, you need an Intel Core i5-95000 or AMD Ryzen 5 3500, 16 GB of RAM, and a GTX 1660 or RX 5700 GPU.
Technical requirements for each resolution and frame rate 🖥️
For 1080p at 60 fps on medium quality, the studio asks for an i5-13500 or Ryzen 5 7600, with an RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT. The recommended setup for 1440p at 60 fps on high requires an RTX 4070 or RX 7800 XT, while for 4K at 60 fps, an RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XTX is suggested. The ultra configuration, aiming for over 200 fps with DLSS 4.5, needs an RTX 5080 and 32 GB of RAM. In all cases, an SSD with at least 80 GB free is required.
The ultra configuration: for spies with deep pockets 💰
So, if you want to see Bond sweat at over 200 fps, you better have an RTX 5080 and 32 GB of RAM. In other words, the price of a second-hand Aston Martin. All so the martini smoke comes out perfectly. Good thing you only need a GTX 1660 to play at 30 fps, which is what us mortals use while we save up for the graphics card the game demands.
