Rebellion announces 2000 AD and Treasury of British Comics yearbooks for twenty twenty-six

Rebellion will launch two annuals in November 2026, each with over a hundred pages. The 2000 AD annual will include original stories of Judge Dredd and other characters, while the Treasury of British Comics will rescue forgotten classics of British comics. For the Treasury of British Comics, Rebellion has digitized and restored original pages from publications from the 1950s and 1960s. The scanning team uses preservation techniques that remove paper yellowing without losing the original inking. Each strip undergoes a process of stain cleaning and contrast correction, ensuring the panels maintain the texture of pencil and ink drawings.

The Treasury of British Comics 2027 promises to bring back to life characters that had been forgotten for decades. Some are so obscure that even the original artists didn't remember creating them.
