Rapid Fusion, a specialist in large-format additive and hybrid manufacturing systems, has signed an agreement with Labostera to distribute its equipment in Lithuania and Latvia. This is the company's first foray into the Baltic markets. Labostera, a provider of solutions for the medical, scientific, and industrial sectors, will handle the supply, installation, maintenance, and training of customers in the region.
Hybrid manufacturing: precision and scale for demanding environments 🛠️
Rapid Fusion's systems combine polymer deposition with CNC machining capabilities, enabling the production of large parts with tight tolerances without changing machines. Hybrid technology reduces production times by eliminating transfers between equipment. Labostera will provide local technical support to integrate these solutions in laboratories and industrial plants, where the demand for functional prototypes and low-volume molds continues to rise.
From plastic to success: now also in the cold Baltic 🧊
Rapid Fusion has decided that Lithuania and Latvia need large-format 3D printing, perhaps to print replicas of their famous forests or so local bears can have bigger toys. Labostera comes to the rescue with installation and maintenance, because nothing says industrial trust like having a technician willing to fix the printer at -10 degrees. Of course, training includes hot coffee, which in those latitudes is more critical than the slicing software.
