Agents of the Local Police of Andratx visited the Sol d'Andratx Municipal Nursery School to conduct a road safety education session. The tutor officer and the Road Safety officer taught children basic safety and coexistence concepts in a didactic way, using real police material to capture their attention.

The activity combined the use of light signals and real communication equipment to simulate traffic situations. The officers adapted technical language to a comprehensible level, explaining the function of traffic lights and pedestrian crossings. Practical interaction was prioritized, allowing children to touch the devices and understand their basic operation, an approach that facilitates the retention of safety concepts.

The little ones learned that officers not only issue fines, but also teach how to cross the street without looking at their mobile phones. The session included the highlight: a mini traffic control with a plastic whistle. Some children, excited, asked if they could take the patrol car home. The officers replied no, but that they could ask their parents for a remote-controlled car.
