The Albuera school in Daimiel has started renovation works on its sports pavilion, a project with an investment of 47,500 euros. The initiative aims to meet the needs of the school community, improving both the sports facilities and the educational spaces of the center. The work includes the renovation of key areas and the optimization of existing resources.
Technical renovation: floors, climate control and efficiency 🏗️
The works include replacing the sports flooring with materials that are highly resistant to wear and have anti-slip properties, essential for student safety. The modernization of the climate control system has also been planned, with low-consumption equipment that will allow for more precise temperature control. The electrical installation has been reviewed to include high-performance LED lighting, reducing energy consumption and improving visibility during sports activities and school events.
The pavilion that no longer fears getting hit in the face by the ball 🏀
Gone are the days when a treacherous bounce on the pavilion's uneven floor would leave you with a ball mark on your forehead. With the new investment, Albuera students can focus on missing free throws in style, without having to dodge loose tiles. Of course, the excuses for skipping physical education are drastically reduced: saying the floor is under construction or the cold is unbearable won't work anymore. Technology is here to stay, and with it, the end of urban legends about ghosts in the locker rooms.
