The Urban Solid Waste Consortium of Ciudad Real has launched a renovation of its fleet and container park. With three new collection trucks and more than 2,000 additional containers, the aim is to optimize efficiency in selective collection and increase storage capacity in the municipalities of the province.
Modern fleet and side-loading containers to optimize routes 🚛
The three new vehicles feature a side-loading system, which reduces collection time by eliminating the need for the operator to get out of the truck. This design allows for a higher frequency of service in high-density areas. The containers, made of high-density polyethylene, feature lids with a pedal opening system and a capacity of 2,400 liters for the residual fraction and lightweight packaging.

With more than 2,000 new containers, residents of the province can no longer say they had nowhere to throw their yogurt container. Now, the distance between your couch and the nearest container is shorter than the distance you travel to find the remote control. Someone should warn the local cats: they've lost their favorite hiding spot.
