The Generalitat has launched a new phase of work on the CV-33 in Torrent. Following the reconstruction of the bridge over the Poyo ravine, completed last summer, the next step is to stabilize the slopes damaged by the flash flood of October 2024. The investment amounts to 335,494 euros and focuses on the kilometer points between 7+500 and 8+000.
Engineering work to secure the road margins 🚧
The work focuses on repairing the slopes on both sides of the road, from the right-hand margin links heading towards Valencia towards Picanya and Torrent. Geotechnical engineering techniques will be used to consolidate the ground, preventing new landslides. The action aims to ensure the safety of the 48,000 vehicles that use this road daily, following the 12.5 million euro investment in the bridge.
