The Plodex designed Marrina as an amphibious combat organism. Her physiology allows her to breathe underwater and withstand extreme pressures. However, her most dangerous ability is the transformation into a giant, wild sea creature when she loses emotional control. This process, similar to an uncontrolled hormonal response, turns her into a threat to both allies and enemies. Alpha Flight developed containment protocols, but the risk is always latent.
