Hyundai has introduced Pleos Connect, its new infotainment system with integrated artificial intelligence. This software will debut in Europe alongside the IONIQ 3, promising a more intuitive and connected experience. The Korean brand thus aims to compete in the electric vehicle segment with a technological proposal that adapts its functions to the driver's behavior.
How AI works in the new infotainment system 🧠
Pleos Connect uses machine learning to personalize the interface and anticipate user needs. The system analyzes frequent routes, charging habits, and multimedia preferences to suggest actions without manual intervention. It also integrates an improved voice assistant capable of processing complex commands in natural language. Hyundai assures that the platform will be updated remotely (OTA), adding functions without needing to visit the workshop. Connectivity with mobile devices has also been optimized to reduce response times.

Now the IONIQ 3 will know that you play reggaeton on Fridays and that you hate traffic on the A-4. The AI will suggest alternative routes and lower the volume when it detects you arguing with the navigation system. Next thing you know, the car will ask if you've had a bad day before turning up the climate control. At least, when the AI fails, you can always blame the algorithm and not your lack of direction.
