The German company Dr. Wolff has developed WolffGPT, a proprietary artificial intelligence model based on internal systems. Its goal is to safeguard sensitive data while improving tasks such as writing instructions or designing presentations. With 110 AI pioneers among its 930 employees, the firm seeks efficiency without relying on external services.
An internal model to prevent leaks 🔒
WolffGPT operates with proprietary data and does not connect to external servers, reducing the risk of information leaks. After an online course, the 110 pioneers support other colleagues in the daily use of the tool. This approach allows Dr. Wolff to maintain control of its processes, while more than 40% of German manufacturers already integrate AI into their operations.
And meanwhile, the rest are chasing after ChatGPT 🏃
While Dr. Wolff boasts about its in-house model, the majority of German SMEs still see AI as a mystery. Competitive pressure forces them to adopt it, but many are still asking whether this artificial intelligence thing comes with an instruction manual or installs itself. At least WolffGPT won't ask for their bank details to work.
