A group of critics from Esquerra Republicana has filed a formal complaint against deputy Gabriel Rufián, accusing him of disloyalty to the party. The action reflects internal tensions within the pro-independence formation, where sectors consider his actions not aligned with the official strategy. The case adds to other episodes of fracture within the republican leadership.
The conflict management software that ERC does not use 🤖
While parties deal with internal disputes, there are collaborative management tools such as digital governance platforms that allow disagreements to be channeled in a structured way. Systems like Loomio or Decidim facilitate transparent voting and debates, reducing the need for formal complaints. Their implementation in political organizations could minimize the escalation of tensions, although they require willingness to adopt and technical training.
Rufián, the deputy now in the news for being disloyal 😅
It seems that in ERC they have decided that the best way to resolve their differences is with a file instead of a coffee. If Gabriel Rufián is disloyal, perhaps it is because he did not follow the manual on how to be a textbook independentist. Or because, simply, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed and decided that a complaint was more entertaining than a party meeting.
