The series is being shot with a combination of real sets and LED volume screens, a technique similar to that of The Mandalorian. Chris Mundy (True Detective) leads the creative team, while James Hawes directs the first episodes. The approach aims to avoid CGI saturation, opting for physical rings with controlled lighting and latex suits enhanced with fiber optics. The post-production promises a more grounded finish.

We'll see if the green light constructs don't get stuck in charging mode when they're needed most. Because if we've learned anything from superhero series, it's that special effects usually have more bugs than a video game beta.
