Prime Video has confirmed that the third season of The Rings of Power will arrive on November 11. The series, set in the Second Age of Middle-earth, has surpassed 185 million global viewers and remains a cornerstone for attracting new subscriptions to the streaming service. Production continues to expand its narrative before the events of The Hobbit.
Filming progresses with new locations and visual effects 🎬
Production of the third season has involved the use of technologies such as Reality Engine's volume display, similar to that used in The Mandalorian, to integrate digital backgrounds in real time. The Weta Workshop team has developed over 900 props and armor pieces, while visual effects are handled by DNEG and Method Studios. Filming has taken place in the United Kingdom, with sets recreating Númenor and Khazad-dûm.
Fans hope Galadriel doesn't run so much this time 🏃♀️
After two seasons where the blonde elf has traversed Middle-earth as if in an obstacle course, followers hope that in this installment she takes a breather and doesn't try to solve all the conflicts on her own. Or at least that she brings a map. Or a horse that doesn't get tired. We'll see if the writers give her a spa day or send her to Mordor in a limousine.
