The work, created by Tom Sniegoski, Jeannine Acheson, and Craig Rousseau, features a story where a boy must team up with a gorilla god to save his mother. This proposal joins the publisher's catalog, known for its focus on young readers, and will arrive in stores next June.

Maybe next time a child says they've made friends with a gorilla, it's worth listening before attributing it to imagination.
