HAELE 3D has released a new trailer for Pose Studio Max, their reference tool for anatomical drawing. This application is designed to help artists in creating human representations, offering a library of editable characters with different body types, weights, and facial expressions. It allows composing reference scenes with poses, props, and lighting control.

The tool includes predefined poses for full body and hands, along with visual skeleton and musculature systems. It offers pre-established scenes, HDRI backgrounds, and an extensive library of props ranging from furniture and vehicles to tools and food. Characters are customizable in skin tones, materials, hair styles, and facial hair, plus options to edit makeup and select expressions from a library.

With this suite of applications, the classic excuse of it's just that I don't have anyone to pose for me is a thing of the past. Your models won't complain about holding an uncomfortable pose for hours, nor will they ask for pizza in return. That said, you'll have to deal with new dilemmas, like choosing between 50 beard shades or deciding if the sofa in your virtual scene should be leather or fabric. Progress has a price, and it seems to be infinite customization.
