Boston Micro Fabrication presents its new series of 3D printers, microArch S150. Designed for laboratory and development environments, this compact line employs PµSL technology and offers two variants: the standard model and the S150 Ultra, which multiplies the speed. With an optical resolution of 25µm, it is oriented towards applications in microfluidics, biomedicine, and precision electronics.
Precision and productivity with optimized PµSL technology 🔬
The series is based on the projection of ultraviolet light through a displaceable membrane, which eliminates the need for pre-use calibration. A HEPA13 filtration system and UV-C light maintain the cleanliness of the work area. The integrated heating vat allows processing high-viscosity materials. This combination reduces downtime and enables the manufacture of complex components in minutes.
Your lab will no longer have excuses for not printing in miniature 😉
With this machine that practically calibrates itself and stays clean, the classic arguments of the resin is cold or it needs to be calibrated for hours are over. Now the limit for not having that microfluidic device ready will simply be admitting that you didn't think of the design. Productivity reaches a point where the slowest part of the process might be deciding which coffee to have while you wait.
