The Korean studio Project Cloud Games has confirmed the release date of The Relic: First Guardian, a dark fantasy action RPG. The title will arrive on July 31st for PlayStation 5 and PC, with later versions for Xbox and Switch 2. Players will explore a destroyed world, searching for pieces of a broken relic to seal a deadly void that threatens to consume everything.
Technical combat and puzzles in an open world ⚔️
The game offers a combat system that allows you to customize weapons and skills, adapting to different play styles. The developers have emphasized fluid movement and controller response, with an engine that supports quick transitions between melee and ranged attacks. Additionally, environmental puzzles are not simple obstacles: they require observing the surroundings and using relic pieces to progress. All of this runs at a stable 60 fps on PS5 and PC, with performance and graphics quality options.
Because breaking a relic is never a good idea 💀
The plot presents us with a deadly void that, logically, someone decided to open by accident. Now it's time to pick up the relic pieces as if it were a giant puzzle, but with monsters trying to eat you while you look for the piece that rolled under the sofa. The good thing is, if you fail, you can always blame the one who broke the relic. At least the combat is fluid, so you'll die in style.
