The space farm simulator Farlands, developed by a Spanish studio, leaves its testing phase on July 16th. It will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. For the curious, there is already a free demo on all platforms, an opportunity to assess whether it is worth investing in the full version.
The final version includes a hostile planet and new management mechanics 🌌
The full release adds a planet with dangerous conditions that forces you to manage resources more carefully. Additional missions are also incorporated that expand exploration and construction. The game engine has been optimized to maintain stable performance on consoles, although on Switch some textures will need to be adjusted. The free demo allows you to experience these bases before the premiere.
Growing lettuce in space: the new interplanetary trend 🥬
Finally, a way to feel like a farmer without having to get up early or get your hands dirty. Now you can complain that your space tomatoes aren't growing because the soil is radioactive. Of course, at least in outer space there are no neighbors asking to borrow your rake. The final version promises missions, but surely the hardest one will be watering the plants without them floating away.
