DS Automobiles presents the new electric SUV DS Nº7 E-Tense, a model that promises up to 740 km of range and 350 hp of power. It will arrive on the market from June 2026, offering another alternative for drivers looking for a premium zero-emission SUV. With these figures, it directly competes with the BMW iX1 or the Audi Q4 e-tron, expanding the range of options for those who want to make the leap to electric without sacrificing range.
High-voltage battery and fast charging in 20 minutes ⚡
The DS Nº7 E-Tense mounts a 98 kWh lithium-ion battery, capable of recovering 80% of its charge in about 20 minutes at a 350 kW point. Its 350 hp front motor offers front-wheel drive, with instant torque that allows it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 6 seconds. The STLA Medium platform, shared with other models from the Stellantis group, optimizes aerodynamics with a coefficient of 0.24 Cd, which partly explains that 740 km range in the WLTP cycle.
740 km of range so you never (or almost never) have to charge 🔋
With 740 km, the DS Nº7 promises more range than your patience to find a working charger on the highway. That said, if you live in the city, it might be enough to go back and forth to work for two straight weeks without stopping at the supercharger. But be careful: in winter, with the heating on full blast and the heated seat, those 740 km turn into 500, which is still more than many need. Ideal for those who want a premium SUV and, incidentally, avoid queues at charging stations.
