Novak Djokovic has once again become the center of attention at the French Open, but this time not for his tennis. The Serbian appeared wearing a jacket that combines a 3D-printed wolf with real mud, a design that has sparked debate among fans. The garment, created by a specialized firm, seeks to integrate nature and technology into a single fabric.
The technical process behind the textured wolf 🐺
The jacket uses 3D printing on fabric with flexible filament, allowing the wolf to have relief without losing mobility. The real mud was applied in controlled layers and fixed with transparent resin to prevent it from coming off during movement. This process, called geological texturization, required three weeks of design and testing. The garment weighs 1.2 kilos, more than a common jacket, but the tennis player stated that it does not affect his performance.
What no one told you about the mud on the sleeve 💧
The most curious thing is that the mud is not from Paris, but imported from a tennis court in Belgrade. Djokovic declared that the mud gives him spiritual strength, although rivals joke that if it rains, the jacket will turn into a mud sculpture. Meanwhile, the ball boys have already asked for a bonus for not getting dirty when handing him the towel.
