Art in the classroom: PLANEA adds one hundred schools in the Comunitat

The Consorci de Museus de la Comunitat Valenciana invites educational centers to join the PLANEA network of Art and School. For the next academic year, the initiative will reach 100 schools, integrating art into the daily education of students. Creative experiences are offered during school hours, expanding the cultural offerings available to the educational community without needing to leave the center.

Technology as a bridge between the classroom and artistic creation 🎨

The PLANEA network not only brings artists and workshops closer but also incorporates digital tools for developing collaborative projects. Design platforms, video editing, and virtual reality are integrated into the activities, allowing students to explore contemporary languages. Teachers receive specific training to apply these resources, facilitating a dialogue between art and subjects like science or technology. The goal is for students to create, not just observe.

100 schools: when art competes with the math exam 😅

That 100 schools sign up for this sounds good, but the real question is: how many of them will use the brush to paint and how many to point at the exit time? The network promises creative experiences, although some teachers already fear that students will ask to do performances instead of solving equations. That said, at least now they will have an artistic excuse for not handing in homework on time.
