The Zarzuela Dictionary is Digitized and Opened to the Public
The Complutense Institute of Musical Sciences has launched the digital edition and free access to the Diccionario de la Zarzuela. This project, backed by the INAEM, culminates four years of work to democratize knowledge about this unique lyrical genre. It is now available online for everyone 🎭.

The digital version integrates and expands the content of previous physical editions. It houses a vast compendium with more than 3,200 entries and approximately 1,600 images. This documentation covers all aspects of Spanish and Hispanic American zarzuela, from its origins to its most relevant figures.
