The highly anticipated continuation of the successful Shrek franchise, produced by DreamWorks Animation, has confirmed its arrival in theaters on December 23, 2026. Shrek 5 will be directed by Conrad Vernon and Walt Dohrn, who are returning to the animation universe after their involvement in highly successful projects such as Shrek 2, The Addams Family, Trolls World Tour, and Trolls Band Together.
