The 3DCG program, which revolves around a friendly trio with a penchant for singing educational songs that invite children to participate, dance, and have fun, is now available for streaming. The new Brazilian series Lulumos has launched on YouTube. The first episode features an English version of the classic Brazilian song Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes, performed by the characters. New episodes will be added regularly.
About the series
In the series, the friendly trio formed by Hit, Disco, and Zig Lu takes the stage in a fun school talent show. With animated and educational songs, they invite children to sing, dance, and have fun together.
We chose a live presentation as the setting for this song because it is a moment that many children experience at school, full of anticipation, anxiety, and joy, commented director Gustavo Ribeiro. It is incredible to see the characters start shy and then shine on stage: it is a message of overcoming for the little ones.
The inspiration behind the songs
We wanted to offer songs that children already love, but with a very Brazilian touch, continued Ribeiro. Additionally, we thought of a simple and accessible choreography, inspired by famous internet dances, but adapted for children. It's about fun and movement.
Technological innovations
Behind the series' visuals, there is a great technological development carried out by Miralumo Filmes to make this project possible, concluded Ribeiro. Among the innovative aspects, the combination of 3D characters with 2D facial expressions and the development of an exclusive pipeline for animation production stand out.
