The company Left Angle has just released Autograph 2025.1, a new version of its tool for creating visual effects and animations, ideal for designers and content creators in the 3D world. This update brings several improvements, new features, and tools that make work easier, especially for those who use other video editing programs.
Renewed and easier-to-use interface
With this new version, Autograph features a completely redesigned interface. Now, the program includes a new panel called Inspector, which replaces the previous Properties panel, making parameter editing simpler.
Additionally, the composition viewers have been improved, allowing you to view and compare different parts of a project, such as the intro and the outro, at the same time.
Improvements in 3D functions
One of the most interesting new features for designers is 3D layer extrusion, which allows transforming logos and other shapes into three-dimensional objects. Additionally, you can now create and modify 3D materials directly in the project, and new tools have been added to handle meshes and 3D objects from the timeline in a much more intuitive way.
Highlighted features:
- Extrusion of layers of text and shapes into 3D objects.
- New layers like Material and Mesh for creating and editing 3D elements.
- Ability to select 3D layers via clicks or area selection in the viewer.
Connection with other tools
Autograph 2025.1 also brings good news for those who use popular programs in the industry. It includes a new plugin called Autograph Live Link, which allows integrating Autograph projects into other applications like DaVinci Resolve. This way, changes made in Autograph can be seen reflected in real time in Resolve.
Additionally, the tool can now import projects from After Effects, automatically converting them into files that can be opened in Autograph, making the workflow easier if both programs are already in use.
New free version and more affordable prices
For those who are just starting out or don't want to invest right away, Left Angle has released a free version of Autograph called Autograph Starter. This version has some limitations, such as a maximum resolution of 1080p and watermarks on certain effects, but it's perfect for small and commercial projects.
Finally, commercial licenses are now more affordable, making Autograph accessible to more users.
"Autograph 2025.1 takes visual effects and animation creation to the next level, simplifying the process and offering new 3D tools that enable greater creativity."
