Fortnite continues to expand its universe with the incorporation of characters and scenarios from Mortal Kombat. The collaboration introduces iconic fighters, new missions, and exclusive content for players.
New Characters Available
Among the added characters are Scorpion, Kitana, and Raiden, who now form part of the skin catalog available in the game's store. Additionally, players can unlock Sub-Zero by progressing through the season's battle pass.
Exclusive Missions and Rewards
As part of the update, Fortnite includes a line of themed missions. Players who complete these challenges can obtain Mortal Kombat-inspired items, such as back bling, emotes, and harvesting tools.
New Locations on the Map
Fortnite's map receives changes with the arrival of points of interest inspired by Mortal Kombat. Three zones based on iconic scenarios from the franchise have been added: The Pit, The Living Forest, and The Dead Pool. In these areas, players can face enemies and find special rewards.
Special Boss and Mythic Items
One of the most anticipated challenges is the battle against Scorpion, who appears as a boss within these new locations. Defeating him grants access to a mythic item called Kombat Kit, which allows executing characteristic moves of the character, such as throwing his iconic spear and pulling enemies toward the player.
Additional Content in the Store
In addition to individual characters, the Klassic Kombat Bundle has been released, a pack that includes alternate outfits from Mortal Kombat 3 for Scorpion, Kitana, and Raiden. This set also contains harvesting tools, emotes, and themed accessories.
