Netflix has revealed a new trailer, key art, and images for the second season of Castlevania: Nocturne, the animated suspense series based on Konami's classic video game. The new season will be available on January 16, 2025 on the streaming platform.
The Story Continues 300 Years Later
Castlevania: Nocturne picks up the story 300 years after the end of the original series, which ran for four seasons on Netflix. In this new installment, Richter Belmont and his group of vampire hunters, now with the help of Alucard, face a race against time. The main villain, Erzsebet Báthory, known as the Vampire Messiah, seeks to obtain all the power of the goddess Sekhmet to plunge the world into endless darkness and absolute terror.
A Renowned Voice Cast
The series features a prominent voice cast, including Edward Bluemel, Pixie Davies, Thuso Mbedu, Sydney James Harcourt, Nastassja Kinski, Zahn McClarnon, Franka Potente, James Callis, Richard Dormer, Iain Glen, Elarica Johnson, and Aaron Neil.
The Creative Team Returns for Season 2
Creator, showrunner, and writer Clive Bradley, showrunner Kevin Kolde, and directors Sam Deats and Adam Deats return for this new season. Additionally, executive producers Fred Seibert, Adi Shankar, Bradley, Adam Deats, Sam Deats, and Kolde remain at the helm of the project. The animation is handled by Powerhouse Animation and production is by Project 51 Productions LTD.
