Fans of the land of Ooo will be able to return to their favorite adventures with a new monthly Adventure Time comic series, debuting in April 2025. This new release, titled Adventure Time #1, will bring back classic characters like Finn, Jake, Marceline, and Princess Bubblegum, in a series created by talented artists such as Nick Winn (Bloody Mary), Caroline Cash (PeePee PooPoo), winner of the 2024 Eisner Award, and Asia Simone (Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur: Wreck and Roll).
A New Era of Adventures in Ooo
The publisher Oni Press, recognized with multiple Eisner and Harvey awards, has announced the launch of this monthly comic in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP) and Cartoon Network. This partnership marks the beginning of a fantastic new era of epic adventures for the characters of Ooo.
The Start of a New Story
The series will begin with the first part of the new story arc, Best of Buds, written and drawn by Nick Winn. This story will take Finn and Jake on a new and exciting adventure full of challenges, new creatures, and a newly arrived princess who will cross their path.

Adventure Time was an important part of my childhood. It wasn't just fun, but it also had an emotional intelligence that few shows could achieve back then. Returning to the land of Ooo with Oni Press has been a challenge and a joy to create something new while maintaining the energy and charm of the show that impacted me so much when I was in high school.
