Nintendo and Monolith Soft have released Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch 2. Already available in the eShop, it includes a paid upgrade option from the Switch version. The physical edition will arrive on April 16. The game retains its sci-fi RPG essence on the planet Mira, with open world, combat, Skell mechs, and online co-op.
A technical leap for exploring Mira 🚀
The main advancement of this edition is the technical improvements. In TV mode, the game reaches a resolution of up to 4K and 60 frames per second. In handheld mode, it maintains 1080p and 60 fps. These updates aim to offer a smoother and more detailed visual experience, leveraging Switch 2's hardware to render the vast landscapes of the planet Mira without compromising performance.
Finally, we can see Mira's grass in 4K 🌿
After years, the promise of exploring every corner of Mira is fulfilled with a definition that allows counting the blades of grass. Now, when you get lost for hours in that immense map, at least you'll do it with a sharpness that will make the disorientation more enjoyable. A technical detail that the eyes will appreciate, even if the sense of direction remains just as elusive.
