The first images of a heavily camouflaged Volkswagen T-Roc R have appeared during tests in winter conditions. The prototype, in a pencil blue color, features large wheels, blue brake calipers, and four exhaust outlets. The model is expected to be presented this year to arrive at dealerships in early 2027.
Power and hybrid technology for the sports SUV ⚡
According to the available information, the T-Roc R will retain the 2.0 TSI engine, now assisted by a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. This will allow a power output that slightly exceeds the 333 HP of the previous model. The transmission will be a seven-speed DSG and all-wheel drive 4MOTION, a classic configuration for R versions.
The camouflage that hides (almost) nothing anymore 😏
The vinyls try to conceal the details, but the aggressive silhouette, wheels, and square exhaust give away its character completely. It's like trying to disguise a lion with a fake mustache. The almost uncovered front suggests that, indeed, it looks a lot like a T-Roc, but with more attitude.
