The European master's program Re:Anima has opened the registration period for its fifth edition, which will take place between 2026 and 2028. This joint program, taught in English, offers an intensive two-year training with mobility between three institutions: the Institute of Art, Design and Technology of Dún Laoghaire (Ireland), LUCA School of Arts (Belgium), and Lusófona University of Porto (Portugal). Its focus is on narrative, documentary, and experimental animation.
A Comprehensive and Experimental Technical Approach 🧪
The curriculum integrates traditional and digital techniques, covering everything from 2D animation and stop-motion to expanded animation and new media. Creative research is encouraged as a method to develop one's own visual language. The individual final project requires the student to master a complete production pipeline, from concept and script to post-production, preparing them for demanding professional environments.
