The mayor and members of the government team visited the works of the new Municipal Aquatic Center this week. The inspection allowed checking the development of the works, which show notable progress in the structure and pool basins. The authorities verified that the execution is on schedule. This infrastructure is designed to provide the municipality with a sports and leisure space for its residents.
Progress in the Structure and Systems of the Complex 🏗️
During the visit, the degree of execution of the main concrete structure, which already defines the volume of the building, could be observed. The works on the pool basins, both the sports one and the learning one, are also advancing. The first pipes for the water filtration and climatization systems are being installed. The civil work now prioritizes closing the roof to be able to work under cover on the interior finishes.
Councilors Approve the Virtual Plunge Test 😄
In an exercise of foresight, the councilors conducted a thorough inspection of the main pool basin. Although the water is still missing, the cement and rebar offer a swimming experience... quite solid. It was confirmed that, for now, the risk of slipping on the edge is nil, and the depth is exactly the same across the entire surface. A progress, without a doubt. Now the challenge is for the project to move from the imaginative phase to the wet swimsuit phase.
