People of Note announces its cast and will arrive on Switch 2
The turn-based musical RPG People of Note already has a date on the horizon. Developed by Iridium Studios and published by Annapurna Interactive, the title will premiere in 2026. Players will be able to enjoy it on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PCs via Steam and Epic Games Store. Its main proposal is to mix classic strategic combat with spectacular full musical numbers, where users form a band and use melodies to overcome challenges 🎸.
A cast that sings and acts
The studio has revealed the full list of voice actors who will bring the characters to life, combining talent for spoken acting and singing. This dual approach aims to give greater depth to each band member.
Main cast list:- Cadence: Spoken voice by Heather Gonzalez and singing voice by LEXXE.
- Fret: Performed by Jason Charles Miller.
- Synthia: With voices by Erika Ishii and Amanda Angeles.
- Vox: In charge of Mansa “Wakil” Wakili.
The group is completed by Cerrin (Marwan Salama), Arc (Alex Boniello), Sharp ♯ (Joe Zieja), Anthony (Griffin Burns), Lasso (Sean Kenin Elias-Reyes and Drew Ryder Smith), Martell (Debra Wilson), and Annette (Erica Lindbeck and Elizabeth Zharoff).
The band is the heart of the game
The plot revolves around bringing together this diverse group of characters to create a cohesive band and face all kinds of obstacles. In this project, music is not just a simple adornment, but the central core of the gameplay. Users must use it strategically during turn-based confrontations and interactive sequences to progress.
Forming an epic band sounds great until you think about the real problems: arguing over the name, paying for the van, and deciding who gets the last slice of pizza. Luckily, here conflicts are solved with a good solo.
Total integration of mechanics
The creators' goal is for the player to perceive directly how the group grows and strengthens through its musical evolution. Every song and every battle is designed to reflect this progress, making the band feel like a powerful unit whose most potent instrument is cooperation 🎤.
With a launch planned in two years, People of Note positions itself as one of the most original proposals that combine the role-playing genre with interactive musical experiences and deep narratives.
