Gameduchy has confirmed that Iron Saga VS, its mecha fighting game released on PC this year, will land on PlayStation 5 in 2026. The title, which already features licenses like Mazinger Z and Dancouga, offers a story mode, multiple units, and online battles. Plans for that year also include new updates and downloadable content for all platforms.
Rollback Netcode and Multiplatform Expansion ?Ž®
PS5 development seems focused on maintaining the technical experience established on PC. A highlight is the implementation of rollback netcode for online battles, a choice aimed at offering reduced latency and a smoother experience. Gameduchy's strategy involves a staggered launch, allowing them to polish the console version while the PC version receives content, then synchronizing both with the new Saga mode and extra characters in 2026.
2026: The Year Your Living Room Becomes a Hangar ??
With this announcement, it's clear we'll need to make space. Between the PS5 controller, the plastic mecha collection, and the inevitable temptation to shout Rocket Punch! at the screen, the family living room will have to be reclassified as a secret base. At least the rollback netcode will try to ensure that when your rival defeats you, you can't blame lag, only your lack of fighting spirit.
