CUPRA has confirmed the details of its next model, the Raval. This urban electric car, with a design that evolves from the UrbanRebel concept, promises agile driving for the city. With power exceeding 200 HP and an announced range of 450 km, it positions itself as the brand's most compact and dynamism-oriented model. Its production in Martorell will begin soon.
MEB Platform and shared manufacturing with Volkswagen ⚙️
The Raval will use the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform, allowing production on the same line as the future Volkswagen ID. Polo at the Martorell plant. This shared production approach optimizes costs and ensures a proven technical base. The electric architecture will provide a spacious interior despite its reduced dimensions and support fast charging.
Martorell exporting sportiness to park at the supermarket 😏
It's a nice gesture that from Martorell they're preparing a car with over 200 HP for urban trips. Perfect for showing off that 0 to 50 km/h at the traffic light in the roundabout, right before stopping for another five minutes in the traffic jam at the glorieta. At least, with that design, it'll look good in the photo while you wait to enter the parking lot.
