Bentley Showcases the Bentayga X Concept Prototype for Exploring Extreme Terrains
The British luxury car brand Bentley has unveiled a new concept vehicle that takes its iconic SUV beyond conventional limits. The Bentayga X Concept is a study that explores the potential for extreme off-road adventures, based on the powerful Bentayga Speed model. This project was carried out in cooperation with FAT International, and its official presentation takes place at the FAT Ice Race 2026 event, held in Zell am See, Austria. Adapting the Mechanics to Conquer Any Terrain
This prototype does not abandon the heart that defines Bentley. It retains the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, capable of generating nearly 650 horsepower. It also maintains key systems such as permanent all-wheel drive, the eight-speed automatic transmission, air suspension, and the complex 48-volt electrical system that controls body roll. However, profound changes have been introduced to the chassis to optimize its behavior off the asphalt. Suspension travel has been increased, and ground clearance has been raised to about 310 millimeters. Its wading capability exceeds 550 mm in depth. To gain stability and accommodate off-road profile tires, the track width has been widened by 120 mm, and the wheel arches expanded by another 40 mm.

Other standout elements include a titanium sports exhaust manufactured by Akrapovič and front towing hooks.
