Salva Gomar has been re-elected president of the Federació de Futbol de la Comunitat Valenciana (FFCV) for the 2026-2030 term. This is his third consecutive term since taking office in 2018. The vote, held at the general assembly, confirms the continuity of his project leading regional football.
Digitalization as the axis of the new term 📲
For the 2026-2030 period, Gomar has announced a technological modernization plan. A unified platform will be implemented for managing licenses and referee reports, using blockchain to ensure data traceability. A performance analysis system based on artificial intelligence is also planned for teams in the Preferente category, with the aim of optimizing resources and reducing bureaucracy in clubs.

The big news is that field delegates will no longer have to sign the report with an expired BIC pen. Gomar's promise is that, by 2027, each match will be managed from a tablet. The only risk is that some coach, in the middle of warm-up, might confuse the app with TikTok and upload a viral dance instead of the lineup. Technology advances, but the scoldings on the bench remain analog.
