On Monday, representatives from the government of Castilla-La Mancha attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the new biosanitary campus in Ciudad Real. This project aims to integrate university education, research, and healthcare in a single space, with the goal of improving regional health services and boosting biomedical innovation in the center of the region.

The campus is conceived as a technological hub where students, researchers, and clinical staff will share laboratories and advanced diagnostic equipment. The initiative plans to install biomedical data analysis platforms and state-of-the-art surgical simulators. The direct connection with the reference hospital will allow laboratory findings to be applied to clinical practice quickly, reducing the time between discovery and treatment.
