At the RAPID+TCT 2026 fair in Boston, ELEGOO has showcased two notable new products: the Jupiter 2, a large-format resin printer with 16K resolution and automatic leveling, and the multicolor CANVAS system for the Centauri Carbon. The Jupiter 2 targets jewelry and functional prototyping, while CANVAS, available at the end of April, offers smooth color transitions. Also exhibited were the Centauri Carbon 2 Combo and the Saturn 4 Ultra 16K.
16K resolution and automatic leveling for large-format parts 🖨️
The Jupiter 2 stands out for its expanded print volume and an automatic leveling system that reduces manual adjustments. Its 16K monochrome screen allows fine detail in each layer, making it useful for jewelry and functional prototypes that require precision. On the other hand, the CANVAS system for the Centauri Carbon introduces a resin exchange mechanism that achieves color gradients without the need for complex post-processing, although its availability is limited to the end of April.
CANVAS: the art of changing color without going crazy 🎨
ELEGOO has decided that printing in multiple colors shouldn't require a master's degree in chemistry or an altar to the calibration gods. With CANVAS, transitions are smooth, like when you shift from one mood to another after your morning coffee. The Jupiter 2, for its part, levels itself so you don't have to, although some users will surely miss the ritual of adjusting screws while cursing the manufacturer.
