DJI is preparing to launch two new drones this week, according to new leaks. These are the Lito 1 and the Lito X1, two models designed for beginners that weigh less than 249 grams, thus avoiding registration with agencies like the FAA. The Lito 1 starts at 339.99 euros with a 48 MP camera and 4K recording, while the Lito X1 goes up to 419.99 euros and incorporates a larger sensor for better performance in low-light conditions.
Front LIDAR and extended battery life in the more advanced model 🚁
Both drones share a lightweight design and notable flight range: 20 kilometers for the Lito 1 and 21 for the Lito X1. Battery life reaches 36 minutes in the first model. The key difference is in the obstacle detection system: the Lito X1 incorporates a front LIDAR that allows it to dodge objects at higher speeds, a significant improvement for avoiding accidents. Both are sold with the RC-N3 controller, which lacks a screen and uses a clamp for a smartphone.
