The Ciuden Foundation and the University of León join forces once again to launch the summer camp STEAM Adventure: a journey through time. Aimed at children and young people, the program seeks to spark scientific vocations with workshops on robotics, programming, virtual reality, and experiments. It will be held in July at ULE facilities, with schedules designed for work-life balance.
Robotics, virtual reality, and teamwork for young minds 🚀
The camp offers a hands-on approach where participants not only program robots or create virtual reality environments but also solve problems as a team. Each workshop is designed to apply concepts of physics and mathematics in a tangible way, from building circuits to simulating time travel with digital tools. The STEAM methodology integrates art and creativity, avoiding memorization and prioritizing direct experimentation.
Time travel without the risk of temporal paradoxes ⏳
The best part of this camp is that it promises a journey through time without needing a DeLorean or worrying about squashing prehistoric butterflies. The kids will be able to program their own virtual time machine, although the only real risk will be that, upon returning home, they ask you to set up a laboratory in the living room. At least, work-life balance is guaranteed while they discover whether the future has more bugs than the past.
