ATLUS has confirmed a unique musical event that unites two worlds: the occult detective Raidou Kuzunoha and the devastated world of Shin Megami Tensei V. The concert RAIDOU vs. Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Special Live will be held on August 23 at YOKOHAMA Bay Hall at 4:00 PM JST, followed by a fan meet-and-greet session. Additionally, the experience will travel to Taipei in September.
The Technical Engine Behind the Sonic Fusion 🎵
For this event, ATLUS has worked on integrating the soundtracks of both titles, combining Raidou's jazzy and dark arrangements with the orchestral and electronic compositions of SMT V. Sound engineers have developed a dynamic equalization that allows for smooth transitions between styles, using surround sound systems. The rhythm-synchronized lighting employs AI-generated projections to recreate the settings of each game, optimizing the live experience without relying on predefined effects.
A Concert for Fans Who Pay Rent with Demons 😈
Come on, ATLUS knows we've been asking for Raidou 3 for years and they drop a concert on us. It's like when you order pizza and they bring you the water bill: you're happy, but it's not what you expected. Although hey, if they manage to get a level 99 demon to play the saxophone while the SMT V protagonist does a guitar solo, we might even forgive the delay of the next game. We just hope they don't sell the tickets as seasonal DLC.
